I use the media function keys on my T61 quite a lot when watching videos in WMP. I also used them to control iTunes, but it no longer works unless the iTunes window is active, which makes it pretty useless. This happened quite a while ago -- maybe iTunes 8? It wasn't enough to bug me before, but I've been listening to a lot more music lately, and it is getting on my nerves. A search of the forum shows this has been brought up before, but I can't find a satisfactory solution.

I've tried re-installing the Lenovo driver that controls the function keys, as well as this dll for iTunes. The driver update did nothing, and the dll works, but it doesn't follow the default behaviour of only controlling the last active window, so if I have iTunes and WMP open at the same time, it starts/stops both of them. Any thoughts?
