    hi all
i just fully charged up a x200s that is brand new and refurb.
    it has a 6cell battery
after charging for more than 12hrs. i turned it on
the battery meter states approx 5hr 30mins remaining.
    is this normal?
also the meter showed 99% and not 100%
    is that normal too?

thanks for answering my newbie to thinkpad questions.
    =)

    1. what CPU do you have?

    2. 5hr 30 minutes for a 6 cells is within the reasonable range, depending on your LCD brightness, power state (performance or battery saver), wireless on? etc.

    3. 99% is normal

I'm not sure how much battery life difference there is between the X200s and the X200, but... my X200's getting about four hours out of a 6-cell with 160 cycles and 45.30 W/h remaining. With those numbers I think you're about on par.

Yes. Just like driving a car, the electronic gas mileage indicator will change depending on your driving style...
