Does anybody know how I can force full screen brightness on battery power? The maximum (meter at 100%) brightness for AC and battery power appears to be different by default.

On a side note, this flexview screen is awesome. I have been taking a few comparison pics and will eventually be doing a flexview specific review.

Yes, the problem is that 7/7 brightness means different things apparently when in AC or battery. Is this not the case for you?

Go to start, all programs, thinkvantage, thinkpad configuration, display from the dropdown, lcd, set display when on batteries to high (you'll still be able to dim it using the Fn+End keyboard combination).

I noticed this the other day on my R60 - I have it set to 7/7 in power manager for both AC and battery. Yet battery seems dimmer. Even if I do Fn-Home it doesn't get any brighter. When I plug in the AC it brightens up.

I *think* it's because of that 50Hz/60Hz power saver that kicks in.

    Thanks, this worked.

As for the flexview pictures - I am not sure, too many things going on right now to know for sure.

You go into the BIOS and set the brightness when on battery there.
