Would it be a good idea to wait for the wireless adapter refresh to buy my T60 or take advantage of the current offer? I can't decide but I think I'll wait for the refresh because sales are bound to occur again. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Matt

I wouldn't worry about an 802.11n adapter at all, myself. What do you need the wireless bandwidth for? Do you copy lots of large files over the network regularly? Because 802.11g will go faster than most people's Internet connections.

Well, firstly, I've been waiting to buy a notebook (since Jan 2006) so I could get the very best notebook available. This is because I do not wish to replace it for 4 years. I've waited for the Core 2 Duo so why not wait for the new adapter? Plus, faster can only be better. No, I don't send/receive large files over the internet too often, but I do once in a while.
How much do you think it would cost to upgrade it after market? And for that matter, how much would it cost to upgrade it now?
Thanks for your help,

If you haven't bought one yet I would go for the free upgrades...like I did! You better hurry, OCt. 31st is fast approaching! -
I do own a T60. However, I am selling it to my friend and purchasing a new one. I made a bad mistake of buying my current one in December (2005) instead of waiting for the new one. Now I'm paying for it... literary. Lol.
Thanks for the advice Cory.
