    Ok, so I am about to surpass my ESD of 7/30 in four days and one of the reps I talked to mentioned a "free gift" I know some of you have gotten additional batteries from Lenovo but I was wondering what the other options were, if there were any. Did they tell you what you could pick? Or did they just give you a price limit?

    when did you place your order? people that ordered around may were offered free batteries because of the ridiculous wait. not sure what he meant by free gift. maybe you should call him back and get the specifics

    Well, when our orders were horribly delayed back in May, we had the option of either a 6-cell battery, official ThinkPad-brand carry case, and an AC adapter (don't remember if it's 90w or 65w). Anyhow, the battery is the best and most expensive choice.

    I actually never got the email. I had to request it from them. You can find the email by doing a forum search.
