This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Found a new bag for x61t

    OK, I've been reading the numerous bag/case threads...

    I've been looking for a messenger bag that was simple, light and smaller than all those "fits a 17 inch" laptop types in all the box stores.

    A couple weeks ago I found what looked to be promising bag at Target. I went back this week and it was on clearance for 30% off (now $17.48). It's a "Trans: by Jansport Sapphire, the model number appears to be TKR5854.

    I stuffed some extra pads at the bottom of the internal laptop sleeve, which is not removable. The sleeve hangs above the bottom of the bag which is padded, but you can never be too careful. Anyway, the x61tablet fits perfectly in the inner sleeve and the rest of the bag seems just about right.

    If you want simple and light, give it a look...
