I have been using Dell for a long time and I feel I got a disease of T61 or T60. I put an order of 15.4''T61. Now I come here each day. It is both interesting to see many related posts, bu it is frustrating :)

I even ordered a bag for it and received it. It is:

Impulse Notebook Case by Wenger SwissGear (r) Maker of the Genuine Swiss Army Knif

I put my Dell 15'' laptop inside and felt it is tough to put the power adapter beside the laptop in the same compartment, which got me worried. What about a 15.4'' T61?

Basically I want to put more stuff into a bag.

    Which bag/case do you recommend for a 15.4'' T61? Why (pros/cons)?

I am tired of T61 shipping and legality stories :)

    Best,
    David

Solidgun, I am always under your "attack" :)

That Ogio Hip Hop bag looks interesting, but I am a IT consultant and it looks to me not that "business like". It would be very nice for college students. This is my personal view.

    Thanks for your info.

    Consider the Samsonite L45.

I don't know. I bring it to office, but then again, we have very informal dress code at Microsoft.

Ogio business line bags are nice, but I hate the look of "professionalism" :)

However, seriously consider that case to go with any bag you choose, as it does offer some serious protection that is worth the money over other neoprene covers that only keep dust off.

Well Solidgun, I feel that Hip Hop bag is really good for young and energetic guys working in a productive/vibrant/creative workplace like Microsoft :)

I don't have a laptop yet, but I'd want a case like this when I get one to put inside my bookbag. But this case seems overpriced for just having a layer of foam inside a sleeve. What do you think?

Check out the North Face Surge backpack w/ dedicated padded laptop compartment. That's what I picked up for college next year.
