    Hi there

I am a photographer and I use a 50" plasma to preview my images for clients. I have been using a Shuttle system running MCE to drive it, but I would like to move to a notebook now.

I have been considering the t60 wide, but I can't find what the output resolutions are for the video card in it...I would be using the min-base station with the DVI out with that one.

So, for anyone that has one of these, what is the highest video resolution it can display, either with the VGA port or the DVI port on the min-base station? The resolution of the plasma is 1366x768.

I think the highest resolution for my R60 with the Intel card is 2048x1536. You should note if you plan to use the DVI with the dock, a dedicated card is probably required.

The ThinkPad T60 Service and Troubleshooting Guide ( link to PDF file) states on page 63 that the 15.4 inch widescreen model can support a resolution up to 2048x1536 on an external monitor.

Thanks Fred, I couldn't find that.

Unfortunately that stated high res is a 4:3 aspect...I guess I'll have to call IBM to get a link to the listing of all supported resolutions, as I need a 16:9 aspect on the external port.

    Thanks! :)

I found a page that lists the resolutions for most combinations of adapter and screen, but amazingly not for the widescreen models. Weird eh!
