Any regrets about owning one of those models? They feel really filmsy and it looks like it might break from any sort of impact.
I feel like the Thinkpad T series offer the most durability, where I can manhandle it and not have to worry.

No regrets here. Had mine for the past 3 months. I love using it.

My list of the things I don't like about my y410p:
Build quality could be better, especially the screen hinges.
Taking off the backing of the laptop for cleaning/upgrading components is a pain. (I accidentally broke some plastic taking it off)
The trackpad isn't the best.
Power brick is pretty large.
Gets pretty warm when playing games on the left palm rest. Above the vent is hot to the touch.
battery is awful... 2.5~3.5 hours average
LCD screen isn't very good.
Hard drive should be replaced with ssd, since it is quite slow.
Poor placement of the status indicator lights and ports in general.
However, for $900, the y410p was the best value when it first came out last year. If I had to give it a rating, I would give it a 7.3/10 -
Nope. As the berrykerry said, my y400 was the best deal I could have gotten when I purchased it over a year ago. While the build quality isn't top notch, it's serviceable and all of the other complaints I have, such as screen resolution and the slow HDD, are easily replaceable. Not to mention the ultrabay, as it allows me to swap between DVD drive, when I need it lol, second GPU and HDD caddy.
For people that have the Lenovo y400/y410p/y500/y510p..Any regrets?
