    Hi guys
Just received my R61 a week ago
I formatted it with a clean WinXP install, and installed all the necessary drivers...
But, my fn button is behaviouring strangely : For example, Fn + F7 works fine
    But, fn + f2; fn + f3 ; fn + f5 don't work.
Basically, all the seemingly "software" control that is given by the fn button doesn't work, and all the hardware control still works.
I've installed the hotkey drivers... Does anybody know a solution to this ?
    Thanks :)

Did you install Lenovo System Interface driver? If not you'll need that for hotkey functionality.

What's the system interface driver ? I can't find anything of that name in the R61's driver matrix...
And the presentation director is not what i'm looking for, as it only configures settings for fn+f7...

I believe that Fn+F3 will work if you install Power Manager (they have options for that command).

Did you follow my guide to a clean install (see sig)?

    Yes I have sir
That's what I actually thought, but when i go to program files > Lenovo > PKGMGR > Hotkey, there's nothing in it. I presume that it's in this folder that all the stuff needs to be for this to work...
So, fn + f3 and f5 don't work (and they're the only two i care about)
    Any idea O XP master ? :p

I apologize if this seems a bit obvious but did you actually manually install it? The .exe that you downloaded only extracts the driver files to a folder but doesn't install by itself. It got me too once then I remembered I had to go to the folder and run the installer.

I'm slightly confused. Do you have Power Manager instalelled or no? Do you have a green battery icon to the left of your system tray?

That may be the problem because my HOTKEY folder has a bunch of stuff in it. Can you try uninstall and reinstall it?
