I'm getting LCD flicker after I resume from standby on this t42 with SXGA and Radeon 9600.

It is happening only with omega or catalyst drivers, not a single problem with the IBM drivers.

Obviously it is preferred for stability, but I would like to the latest drivers for gaming. If anyone can think of a way that I could get around this I would appreciate it. If not I can just use the ibm drivers

Flicker for how long? Is it only with certain color backgrounds?

No, it is like the screen is shaking ever so slight. Happens with every screen. Goes away when I start up CS: Source, so maybe its a conflict with some other software installed. You get it ever dietcoke?
