I was one of the first people to order and receive a T400, so i have the batch with the blinding thinklight. I was wondering, what can I do, or be done in order to fix this issue? Any advice?

    Thanks

    Just some ideas:
Black nailpolish on the front of the LED? Sharpie? Electrician's tape?

Not so serious idea: Crush the led so it won't light. Ever. :D

I would think you would need to open up the bezel and do some handiwork to reseat the LED. Perhaps if you contact Lenovo, they can do something about it, seeing as it is a defect on their part?
