Hello. I am new to this forum, and this is my first post, so please forgive me if these has ever been discussed before.[:I]

I have an older Thinkpad 240.
    12GB / Celeron 400mhz / 128MB RAM

I wanted to know if it is possible to either replace the 128MB RAM with more memory, or add memory to the existing RAM.

Also, the same question for the Processor. Would I be able to swap out the 400mhz processor for a faster one?

    Thanks for any responses.

    Josh

You would need to look up the old spec sheet on this notebook and see what the max memory is. To tell you the truth, for the price and effort involved in doing this upgrade if it is even possible, I would look around at Ebay and other places for a good used computer, chances are you will be able to find a thinkpad twice as powerful or more then the one you have for under $300-$400.
