Hi everyone, I just ordered my first ever Lenovo (a nice T61p) earlier today.
Anyhow, I keep seeing posts where people have detailed information (i.e., shipping dates, etc.) about their order(s).
The only thing mentioned in my confirmation e-mails is to call a 1-866 number to check up on my order status.
Is there an online facility that allows me to check up on my order, instead of calling them twelve times a day?
If it's relevant, I bought my notebook via Lenovo Canada.

When I sign-in at Lenovo's site, I can't seem to find any of this information. Perhaps I'm just blind? =)

I also stumbled across this page, but it doesn't seem to work (i.e., my customer/order numbers appear to be too long for those fields) with the information that's provided in my confirmation e-mails.

I don't know about you Canucks, but here in the US you can log into your account on Lenovo's website and find all the details of your order. Did you try the Canadian equivalent?
My own advice to you is to look as little as possible which I know is tough. When I ordered my R60 my ship date was about a month out. I resolved not to look for a couple weeks. Just about the time I was going to look, it was at my door. -

i ordered a t61p on 6/6, the ETA was 6/27, but i received it on 6/12. varies for everyone though.

I have one more question: I was unable to find decent pictures of a T61p with the 6-cell battery in it. Does it stick out, or is it flush with the back of the notebook?
