Looks like this may be the first official review of the X100e:

A little hot running when pushed but otherwise good it seems ... but as per usual these reviews don't really say much, they almost sound like a selling pitch. What do you all think ?

Ya, this was pretty useless. We really need user reviews who can be with the machine for a week of real world use. Nothing really too informative here except that it runs hot. Whatever that means.
I am more interested in stress testing with real world multitasking and various types of videos since my last run in with the x100e at CES.
We all know it accelerates h264, but what about flash, xvid, more wmv etc .
Good to see the battery life was 6hrs. -

Yes agree with battery life comment, that seems fine. Under full load that it gets a bit hot fair enough, but what is full load. For me that would be watching a DVD, copying files, a web page or 2 and Skype open or so ... if it produces heat now do you think with a Core Duo (Neo X2) it would produce more heat or less since it does not have to work that hard? I don't have to travel till end February so I have some time up my sleeve. Apart from that I think it will be an ideal travel companion though on the heavy side, wish they would have kept the weight X200s like ... but money is money and the X200s here in Europe would be 3 times the cost of this little X100e. If anyone gets one please review for us ... am still contemplating whether I should just get one and sell it when the newer model comes out ...
