The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    note: actual CPU temperature (or pretty close to that) is shown on the TPFanControl tray icon, not in ThrottleStop, due to the famous thermal sensing error. Read my thread for more info. Room temperature was at 22 deg C, with the laptop lifted on 1 inch stands.

    Note: Dual IDA should be put in Profile 1 in ThrottleStop!

    My first tests were with my Dual IDA mode being set on Profile 2, which caused the Dual IDA not to activate every time I switched to that profile, so I had to click and un-click the EIST option couple times until it locks in Dual IDA. No such issues when running Dual IDA in Profile 1 :D
