Hi everybody, finally, after an unreciprocated love with Dell, I'll buy my first Lenovo. I've seen that each model has particular char. like for example the IPS screen, flexview etc. I've taken in consideration:
    The UT0FX that is a TS3 T60 CORE2 DUO T5600/WXP-PRO
    The UD0FD a TS3 T60 CORE2 DUO T5500/WXP-PRO
    The UL1DX a THP TS3 R60 CORE2DUO T5600/WXP-PRO

So the T60 in 14.1" and unfortunately an XGA display instead the r60 is a 1400*1050 without flexview I think.
Well I'm interested in the weight of the T60 but I'ma afraid the screen is like the on of the Dell Latitude d510 that seemed to be dead.
Has anyone seen this screen? Do You think is better to move on the R60 or not?
    Thanks everybody.

What kind of part numbers are those? I can't find those to look up the full specs.

The build of the T60 is overall stronger, a bit thinner and lighter. The screens I presume will be the same.

    It's a country model called also 1951-FDG
Do You think that a T60 with this configuration:
    IntelCore 2 Duo T5600 RAM 512x2MB
    Serial ATA 80 GB 5400
XGA Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950

Is enough to run Vista Pro? I mean with this configuration i'll miss just aero or else?

Those specs should run Areo no problem. However, I would recommend at least 1.5G main memory with the built-in video. MS never says dedicated video memory only. Just Dx9 compatible.

Go check out the Dell forum on this site for my installation of Vista Ultimate with Areo on a slower processor and the Intel GMA 950.

Yes Vista should run on Intel GMA, however, it's never a bad idea to have a dedicated, even low-end, graphical unit.

I had Vista running on my R60 with Intel integrated. It ran fine without Aero which if you want Aero you should get one of the dedicated cards. Only the 15" SXGA+ on the T60 is FlexView.

What is the t61 a joke or the next generation of T60? Or it's hust wide version...
Well at the moment I'm looking for the 2007 FXG or the 1951 FDG but on Lenovo support site I'm unable to find news about the screen or keyboard.
Ok, they are similar but why my next T60 hasn't to be on the list?

    I'll buy it in Europe.

I'm not sure if Lenovo has 'officially announced' anything about a "T61" model.... or at least yet.
