    Hi everyone:
I found my DVD Multi drive could not recognize DVDs today. I have a Lenovo Z60t with a MAT****A DVD-RAM UJ-832 DVD Multi drive. It can read CD or VCD.
I noticed that a firmware update for the MAT****A UJ-832 DVD Multi Drive has been recently posted on Sony eSupport which says it will deal with the problem of DVD-ROM reading. Would you please tell me where I can find the update for this DVD multi Drive for Lenovo Z60t.
    Many Thanks
    GZ

Did you look on Lenovo's site? Try deleting the ide drivers as well. Windows will install them when re-booted.

Have you had any luck finding the firmware or solution for this issue? I am having the exact same issue on my Z60t and have called Lenovo, but they were only able to offer me what is on their website which is nothing. I have even tried a couple of their DVD firmware upgrade ISO's, but nothing has worked yet.
