It may be just me but since installing the latest updates to my Yoga 9i, with the 1185G7, that they have massively altered fan profiles from the original "33" firmware. On the "37" firmware I'm noticing it staying cooler and the battery is actually lasting a very long time. At 100% I lay it on my bed and watch Prime Video until I fall asleep. At a point Prime will ask if you're still watching, that I get. What's amazing is that in the morning when I pick the laptop up and try to use it, it still has ~20/25% battery left. That is truly an amazing feat with this i7. Coming from the MacBook Pro side, this has been eye opening. So with this post I will be keeping tabs and posting when there is a new UEFI Firmware update so that we can collaborate and get opinions on what has changed, because this was DRASTIC. This has also fixed my notebook freezing when using a J5 Create dock with video out to two monitors.

Another thing to note is that originally I was getting warnings about using my Apple USB bricks with charging this laptop. I no longer get those after the "37" update. It correctly conforms to USB power delivery. Very nice.
