    Fingerprint reader doesn't work/ T510

    I've just installed a new bezel/palmrest, touchpad and tracpoint are wokring but the finger print reader is not recognized and doesn't show in the device manager.

    then you should call Lenovo warranty support.

    I'm guessing this is a computer that didn't come with the fingerprint reader from the factory? If so, have you installed the drivers?

    No it did have fpr from the factory. I reinstalled the drivers too but I got nothing.

    How about the Thinkvantage Password Manager software? I've never done a retro-fit of this sort, but I'm guessing it's just a software issue.

    It worked by itself :s I did nothing. I did install and reinstall drivers and password manager but this didn't work when I restarted the system many times . I was using my pc normally when "found a new hardware" appeared. Maybe it was was dislocated or something.
