Can someone tell me how to use the fingerprint reader to enter passwords. I have t400 with windows 7. Fingerprint reader works fine when booting up but when passwords are requested no place to enter fingerprint. Instructions say click on hand icon in upper right hand corner. Cant find hand anywhere. Thanks for any help.

Did you do an aftermarket installation of Windows 7? Upgrade or clean? Was it working previously?

I did an aftermarket. I had just bought the laptop and it had xp. I dont know if it worked but the reader does work when I am signing in. It's my understanding that when a program or a website ask for a password, I should be able to input through the fingerprint reader and not to have to manually enter the password. I cant find any kind of controls that talk about this. Thanks
