Initially I wanted to completely remove the "user picture" for the fingerprint log on on the windows welcome screen, without disabling the feature itself because the default image looks awful. But, after some searching on the web I concluded that this is impossible.

Instead I chopped together a picture that looks a bit better than the original one.

    Instructions:
    1. Go to "C:\Program Files\ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software\rsc"
    2. Backup original file
    by renaming "ViLogLd1.png" to "ViLogLd1.png.org"
    3. Save image from this post to desktop as "ViLogLd1.png"
    4. Move image from desktop to "C:\Program Files\ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software\rsc"

    No need to restart.
    Enjoy!

Note: To roll back to the default picture simply delete the "ViLogLd1.png" and remove the .org extension from the "ViLogLd1.png.org".
