When I bought my T400 i originally got it with the 9-Cell, I've decided I hate the form factor and I want to track down a 4-Cell battery. Anyone care to name names of companies that sell batteries for the T400? After fighting Lenovo's site I found that I could pick one up for $120, that's really not an acceptable price.
Thanks in advance.

CalCellular offers a ThinkPad T/R series 4 cell for $62.88+shipping. It's officially listed as a replacment for the T61 widescreen, but the T400 uses the same batteries (41U3196).

I have had good luck buying ThinkPad batteries from Calcellular in the past (notably 6 cell batteries for the T4x), and their prices are quite reasonable.

Check the Lenovo Outlet, often times they have "scratch and dent" batteries for like 30-40 dollars. I've heard that some of these even arrive with 0 cycles! Good deal for a genuine battery if you ask me.

what is the meaning of 0 cycles ?
what is the best battery cycles?

Thanks guys I'll check those places out. I am e-mail a representative at batterystore.com, they had good prices, I'll let you guys know if I can get a 4cell out of them.

EDIT: Malamjahanam, battery Cycles is how many times the battery has been charged and discharged.
