Okey. I am tired of waiting and waiting, it is driving me insane. so I go ahead and ordered the T60P 2613HPU.

    Spec:
    Core2Duo T7400 2.16G
    14.1 SXGA+ Mobility Firegl V5250
    1G PC5300 RAM
    100G 7200RPM HARDDRIVE
    CTO TP WIFI WIRELESS ABG
LENOVO THINKPAD COMBO ULTRABAY SLIM DRIVE - CD-RW / DVD-ROM COMBO DRIVE - IDE
    6 Cell battery
    XP pro

The Est. Ship Date is 12/22/06, I guess it's not too bad considering the large demand during the holiday season. Another month waiting.....

Heck, if the Widescreen T comes with a better non-professional card like x1600, which is highly unlikely, I will cancel the order and reorder.

Nice configuration. What are you planning to run on the computer, software demand wise?

Websurfing, E-mail, Gaming, and some video-editing, nothing special.

BTW: I ordered on the lenovo student/alumni page(I am an alumni) and ended up saving about 250$ than the same configuration on the Lenovo.com.

I don't see a student/alumni for Lenovo Canada. Is there one?

I briefly browsed the Lenovo Canada website, and sadly it seems there is no student/alumni page.

I must be dense, because I can't even get a Core 2 Duo T60p to show up on that page (much like our EPP page).

The closest thing to what I have on order I can seem to configure is a T60 with a 1.83GHz Core 2 Duo, X13000, 1.5GB of RAM, and 80GB HDD a DVD writer, Thinkpad Wifi and a 6 cell battery. It comes in about $150 cheaper than the machine I have on order but only has an x1300 and no WWAN.

Go to the Products->Thinkpad notebooks->Let me build it. Then you will see all the options.

Don't go to the Featured notebooks page.
