Hey guys after about a month and a half I finally got my T61, but not from lenovo! I cancelled about 30 days into my lenovo order and ordered instead off of euclid computers.

    Now on to euclid....

First I order the model for $1440 and they email me like 3 days later saying its out of stock and i'd have to wait or just order a better laptop. Sooo i spend another $200 to order a better laptop and they ship in 2 days, I also payed for express 2day shipping which was $30 or something more.

Then, I waited all day at home and didnt do anything all day and the fedex guy finally shows up (hes late). He says are you so-and-so I say yes and he says I need proof you are 21 years old and you need to sign this. What the #$@#$@# I'm 18 not 21 and euclid never says on their whole site that you have to be 21 to order. So I had to call my mom and drive down to the fedex warehouse to get it. I am calling them and demanding a shipping refund because they never state in their terms that you must be 21 to order one of their laptops.

    Anyways....
The laptop is awesome, no problems for me and not a single blue screen. very pleased with it so far and the fingerprint reader is fun :)

Now I have to do a clean install of vista cause this sucker has 87 processes running. LOL

    Damn, lucky boy!

But what configuration did you get that you have a 7 cell battery with it? Or did you order an additional accu?

Mine was also delivered by FedEx, but on the other side of the Ocean :p

O sorry didn't update my signature. I had originally cancelled my lenovo order after about a month so this laptop has a 6 cell battery. It works pretty nicely I get about 3 hours of battery life when setting the brightness of the monitor to low.

I'm going crazy over this, I can't get the processes running below 80. I don't have any way of doing a clean install and I don't really want to screw up by trying some of the methods on here because I'm not computer savvy.

I'll turn my computer on sometimes and the green blinking light that shows it's loading something does not turn off. I'll go and check to see the cpu usage and it'll be running anywhere from 15%-60%. It doesn't happen all the time when I turn it on, just sometimes. I know something is running in the background but I can't find it. I've turned off aero which helps but the whole point of having vista is for aero. Besides that my printer doesn't work with vista. They have updated vista drivers for my printer but whenever I turn off the printer I get this error message and it won't go away. So far vista has been nothing but a headache. I've spent all my time with this computer trying to fix it so far.
