There have been a several different threads with various questions about the IdeaPad Y439 in the last few months. The lack of detailed specifications on the Lenovo website is the source of a lot of them. But, I finally got my hands on some detailed specifictions (by model number) and thought I'd share the info-

Y430 models with a T3200 or T5800 processor have CCFL-backlit displays and use DDR2-667 RAM. All other models have LED-backlit displays and use DDR3-1066 RAM.

All models with integrated graphics use the Intel GMA 4500MHD and NOT the X3100, despite what the Lenovo website shows! It's very annoying when a manufacturer lists incorrect specs on their website, but they have done so in this particular instance. I have sent them an email pointing out their error and provided documention to prove that the Y430 has the Intel 4500MHD. Hopefully they'll correct their website soon!

    Nice clarification. :)
I was under the impression the entire Y4xx line had CCFL displays.
