1: which option of the wireless support Wireless N ? is Wireless N any good to spend extra money on it ?( I have a wireless G router)
2: how about the "Intel Turbo Memory hard drive cache" , worth paying 50 bucks?
3: how about the battery life with 6-cell?
4: Is there any problem to install windows XP on this ?
5: I use this machine mostly on internet surfing/movies/coding and some Warcraft3, No intense 3D gaming. So do I need to get the m82xt hybrid? Can X4500 handle h.264 well?

    best regards

    4. You won't have any problems installing XP but you might have problems finding all the necessary drivers.
    5. The x4500 should be powerful enough for those things but the dedicated graphics card is more future-proof.

3: according to the person reviewing it (Admin Kevin)....9 cells gives 8hrs on light activity....so 6 cells should give 5 hrs

    skip the turbo memory

6 cell was giving a steady 4 to 5 hours in early testing. You should really go for the 9 cell though if you can, sticks out just a LITTLE bit more, adds about 6oz of weight, and quite a bit more battery life.

Get the hybrid graphics to futureproof yourself as much as possible. It doesnt seem to hit battery life much if any from what I can tell.

He just made that up. Lenovo offers XP on these machines, so there's no chance that there will be a lack of drivers.

    thanx for helping.
Can hybrid works well with Winxp? As I know that turbo memory is vista only.
And is there a E-sata port?

    No eSATA port

I cant confirm the hybrid graphics work in XP since I dont have XP on our review notebook. I would imagine it does though.

What does one mean by "future-proof?"

By "future proof" they mean to get better parts now so it won't be [as] outdated in the months/years to come.

Thanks for that link. I ordered a T400 last night with the 6 cell. I think I'll give them a call later today and see if it's not too late to change my order to the 9 cell. I'm not sure what their policy is on change orders once they have been placed. I'll ask about the availability of the 9 cell when I call.

For 32-bit only thought, there is no drivers available for XP x64, not with Lenovo.
