    Fast / Noisy Fan after a few weeks

    So I've had my T420 for about a few weeks now, and up until this point, the fan has been relatively soft and quiet. Just today, the fan has been extremely hard-working and loud, even without running any intensive programs. Is there anything I can do to make it running normally again?

    Check your background processes. Is there something hogging the CPU? Sometimes even a device driver can cause such issues...
