    hi guys - until now i could not figure out why my hand rest was heating up sooo bad when on battery power, i just couldnt hear the fan running. When on AC power, the fan runs properly and my hand rest is cool and nice.

    I have a fresh install of vista ultimate on my pc and dont have any ibm junk. but i want the fans to start and not melt my pc.. can anyone please help. i already installed the ibm power manager but i didnt see any difference.
