    Fan always on X300

    The fan on my X300 is always on. Doesn't matter what profile I choose battery/cpu wise its always on. Is this normal? Other than this its a perfect laptop. Thanks

    If you want to adjust the fan you should check out TPFancontrol. This should allow you to manually specify more aggressive fan settings (spin down until it gets really hot, or crank it up for hardcore tasks [applies more to TxxP and W series with workstation GPUs]).
