    I have Thinkpad R400. Can someone tell what is the key cobination *At startup) or what is the process if I want to restore my Thinkpad R400 to factory state?

    If you have your recovery partition still, you can press the ThinkVantage button at boot and a prompt will come up allowing you to choose to restore your computer to factory state.

    If not, you can use the recovery disk set that you have hopefully burned to go through the same process. Just insert the first (Boot) disk into the laptop and restart your computer.
