I bought used T60 which comes with windows Xp. It has 3 yrs warranty.
I installed win xp prof (my personal copy) on it, but after installing I downloaded all the drivers from there site but few things are not working like Audio, and resolution is not good.
Is there any way I can restore the factory setting/OS.
Can anyone help me on this issue.

Yes...press the blue button upon startup and perform a factory restore.

If you want to try a clean XP install again, use the guide in my signature.

Oh that's right, you did a clean install. Did you make sure to burn recovery CD's before attempting the clean install? If so, use those.

If not, did you make sure to keep the recovery partition when you were formatting for the clean install?

I really just recommend that you follow my guide and perform the clean install again since you have the materials to do so. I provide the right instructions to install audio as well as modem.

I install Rescue and Recovery from the following link:
    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-4Q2QAK.html
and on startup using blue button it took tom to recovery section but at the end it pops up a message "The recovery function is removed...." :(
Is there any other option which I can use to make it workable.
    Thanks.

When you attemped your clean install, during the XP setup to set up partitions, did you erase all existing partitions? If so, you erased the hidden recovery partition.

Call Lenovo Tech Support (not cust. serv.) and tell them for some reason you cannot access your hidden recovery partition and you would like to perform a factory restore. They will send you a set of recovery discs.

I called Lenovo and they are sending the recovery CD's.
    Thanks for your advice.

60G advertised does not equal 60GB. You only get about 55.8Gb of that. If you still had the hidden recovery partition, it would be less than 55GB of free space left.

Maybe repairing the MBR section will solve the problem (assuming you haven't deleted the factory partition). Here's how.
