    Hello,

My laptop crashed yesterday, its and X60. Rather than try to save it I've decided to do a factory reinstall. However my dilemma is that the recovery discs that I have are different. My x60 has a windows vista business oem sticker/license keys on the bottom. However, I have two recovery discs one is a recovery disc for the x60 but for Xp Pro. The other is for windows vista business BUT its for the x61.

Can I use the xp recovery discs or will I have to use the vista recovery discs (provided they're compatible?)

    Help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

They'll probably work and Vista Business does include the right to downgrade to XP Pro.
