I'm just sharing this info in case someone runs into it. I could not find much of anything on it.

If you order something on Laptops, Notebooks & Netbooks - Laptops For Those Who Do | Lenovo | US or Lenovo Outlet | Lenovo | (US) and receive this response.

Thank you for shopping at lenovo.com. Your order is pending review and a Lenovo representative may contact you with some questions. You will receive an email confirmation or a telephone call from Lenovo.

Your order went into the bit bucket. They will not contact you and you won't receive anything.

I tried ordered a laptop a few weeks ago and I split the charges on the credit card and the billing was NOT the same as requested.

I got one of those messages above and assumed it was because the billing didn't match.

I lost out on the deal and saw a similar deal come up today.

So I made sure to use one credit card this time with matching billing and ship too etc. I usually never have any issue using either card to either address.

    SAME message !!!

Tried not using my Lenovo account and different email.

    SAME message !!!

Called Lenovo several times, one sales guy knew what was wrong (or thought he did).

Talked to Credit Card department and they said they would make sure it would not "Reject" like it was and go through using my address and they would manually process it.

    SAME message !!!

Then I realized what was wrong. Last fall I called my Credit Card company to reverse a charge from Lenovo because they confirmed an order was canceled sent it and were extremely slow to refund. They eventually did refund it and the reversal was reversed.

I think my Credit Card company blocked any further charges.

So I used a different charge card. Same account, name and email.

    SAME message.

Used my wifes name, separate credit card, and my wifes email. It finally went through !!!

It was partly my fault, but if Lenovo were not such jerks in canceling orders etc. it never would have happened in the first place.

If they did what the message said in the email about contacting me, it also would not have been such a nightmare.

It's really a shame Lenovo online is so difficult to deal with. I seriously considered a Toshiba Tecra with a TrackPoint.

This is the "problem." Users jump on "great deals" because they are conditioned by Lenovo.

    It was a good deal.

X1 Carbon, New, 256GB SSD, 8GB, i5 for $1012.00, Barnes and Noble account shows it at almost $1700.00

I know Lenovo plays games with coupons, sales and crap. I wish they would just sell them at a reasonable price

If they sold them for a reasonable price on Amazon they would sell a boat load of them. I would have bought one months ago for more money if they did.
