I just ordered my ThinkPad T420. YEA!

I don't think this has already been mentioned so....Most know there's a sale going on the Lenovo website for the T420. If you use the promo code "ECOUPONS10", you get another 10% off. On a hunch I called Lenovo and asked if there were any additional discounts for federal government employees and/or students. The rep said there are discounts for govt. employees and students. You can use only one. Rep applied the student discount and it's larger than just going on the website and ordering it yourself.

    My configuration:
    Intel Core i5-2520M Processor (2.50GHz, 3MB L3)1
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 6412
    14.0 HD+ (1600 x 900) LED Backlit Display, Mobile Broadband Ready
    Intel HD Graphics 3000
    4 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz SODIMM Memory (1 DIMM)8
UltraNav with TrackPoint & touchpad plus Fingerprint reader
500 GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm4
    DVD recordable multiburner5
    6 cell Li-Ion Battery - 55+60
    No Bluetooth
    ThinkPad b/g/n10
    Integrated Mobile Broadband - Upgradable65
    4177: 1 Year Depot Warranty - TopSeller7

With the sale and "ECOUPONS10" promo code = $1,091.98
With the student discount = $XXXX.XX

FINAL totals including taxes. Not THAT much more of a discount but IMO every bit counts. :p
