    FPS Spikes on Y700-15ISK

    Morning.

I have purchased the Lenovo Y700-15ISK and having installed CS GO I am experiencing FPS spikes every 5-10 minutes of gameplay.

At first I believed it was down to the GPU temperature reaching the throttle limit of 67 degrees but after further tests I have played for 1 hour+ and the temperature has not gone above 60 degrees.

These spikes happen as soon as I enter the game even if the laptop has only just been turned on so I don't believe it is temperature related.

I have the max processor state at 99% to eliminate turbo and it does not make any difference if I have the graphics settings on high or low.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated as I seem to have hit a brick wall.

    Thanks in advance.

    Chris Keegan.

Install HWInfo, open it while gaming (make sure GPU clock / temps are showing) and let it save a log to file. Upload the file here so we can have a deeper look.
