    Hi,

I recently bought an Edge E530, as I needed something that was good for typing and not too expensive. I may need to switch the hard-drive from my old laptop into this one. However, I've noticed that the drivers and app info for the FP reader is taking up a relatively large amount of space on my lovely 'new' HDD. So, if I switch the drives, does the reader stop working? I've also noticed that there is less space free by default compared to my old laptop (465gb vs. 489). What's taking up this much storage? I should also ask if it even *should* be like this out of the box, as I bought this PC refurbished. Not sure whether or not to reset it.

I realise I'm probably necroing a very tired discussion, as the e530 is 3 years old now. However, it's new to me and I've never owned a Lenovo before. Forgive my newbness accordingly please ;)
and oh, let me shoehorn one last question into here: [EDIT:] Solved, so let's put another one here instead. What upgrades would you recommend for this laptop over time? I think you can upgrade the CPU, and of course the mSATA slot is free. I have read reviews that essentially claim the E530 can only get SATAII speeds out of whatever SSD is installed, so I think going too expensive with a new drive may be a less than good idea
