This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I have a new T42p Thinkpad and am having 2 problems with external display. MPEG video does not show up on projector but does on LCD display. Second problem, when I connect external monitor, the only thing I see is my wallpaper, no icons, no mouse pointer, nothing else. Any ideas?
