I have a T61 15.4" with x3100. I use both the T61 screen and an external Samsung 226BW monitor on the VGA port.
When the T61 comes out of standby the images are swapped. The Samsung 22" will display what was previously the notebook screen (and at the notebook resolution). The notebook then displays what was previously the external monitor image. To fix it I need to go to the Control Panel, then Intel GMA Driver, then change the settings for which monitor is which, and then fix the resolution.
Does anyone know why the computer does this, and can it be fixed? Or at least make my adjustments a one-click fix rather than a ten-clicker.
Thanks!

Bump.
Surely someone else has run into this problem. Am I the only one? -
