    Hi,

I should be getting my x220 in a few weeks (from the doorbuster deal). I have a c300 128 gb ready to replace the mechanical hard drive. Wondering if there is a 7m enclosure I could get, preferentially usb 3.0.

    Thanks

I haven't yet seen any enclosures that are specially made for 7mm. However, you can use a standard 9.5mm enclosure and put in some packing on top of the HDD if necessary.

Thanks for that. Might give that a go but it is not very necessary at the moment. Hopefully in a couple of months it will be available if not I will get the 9.5 mm.
