I have an external LCD that has a refresh rate of 75 Hz. My T42 display's max rate is 60 hz. Is my external LCD running at 75 Hz autonatically or do I need to adjust settings?

Also, can I create separate profiles for the native diplay and the external LCD

    Thanks

Hmm, I'm not sure what's going to happen in that case, it might actually default to 60 hz is my guess. To configure that you should just go to Control Panel > Display Properties > Settings > Click advanced and you should be able to configure settings from there for an externally attached monitor.

Using the Fn + F7 combo will bring up a nice wizard that should allow you to create profiles and easily toggle between native and external display.
