I'm getting a Thinkpad Yoga next week. I am worried that the battery life will be insufficient; I generally have at least 2 12 hour flights each month.

I have been looking for an external battery but the companies I have contacted say that the square shape with center pin connector is not compatible. I was thinking about trying to use a converter tip such as Amazon.com : Patuoxun Power Adapter Cable for ThinkPad X1 Carbon 0B47046 UltraBook PC : Laptop Accessories : Computers & Accessories.

Has anyone found an external battery that works with the Youga, wit or without an adapter?

That's going to be tricky because of the proprietary port that Lenovo uses. Good thing is the power adapter is quite small and light, easy to fit in a bag. Don't most major flights have electrical outlets you can plug in to now?

Several reviews indicate that it works with the portable power packs and one even references how well it works with his ThinkPad Yoga. So sounds like it will do the trick for you.
