    Greetings:

Since the X200 doesn't come with a CD/DVD burner built in, what dual layer DVD burner for the X200 would you recommend that is relatively portable (it is ok if it has its own power supply as long as the power supply is not too bulky)?

Preference would be a burner that can burn all formats, and do well at reading what others burned.

    Thank you.

The LG GSA-E50L (L for Lightscribe, there's also an E50N without) is very compact and runs on USB power (for the several computers I have tried).

There's also a Liteon burner which is probably cheaper but has a small PSU.

If I get an esata expresscard and a cable(esata<->sata), would I be able
to use optical drives for PC.. Btw, I do have a power adaptor for sata drives and I don't really see why not.

The Sony is awesome, comes in a full Aluminium Chassis so it designed tough for when you travel with it. Most others have a plastic chassis like the Lite-On. The Sony's black brushed aluminium also looks classy next to an X200 ;)
