My warranty is up in about a month. I'm considering extending it even though apart from the screen issues on early units which have been thoroughly discussed, the X220 has been problem free. Provantage sells the extensions for 20% less than Lenovo. How exactly does it work purchasing this from them, and how much in advance of expiration does it need to be done?
