Hi
I'm in UK and recently purchased a X1 5th Gen in silver from USA which came with a 1 year warranty. Upon entering the notebook's serial # on the Lenovo website, I'm presented with many options to extend the warranty, could someone explain to me what is meant by "3/4/5Y International Services Entitlement" does this mean that I could extend the warranty for up to 5 years and which Lenovo UK would also honour the warranty? If so, the price of $30 is almost too good to be true..... This is a screenshot of the warranty options available to me:

ok got clarification from Lenovo support wrt warranty options. The 'International Services Entitlement' warranty option only adds international warranty coverage to an existing USA return to depot warranty, eg you can only add '5 year International Services Entitlement' to a 5 Year basic US warranty. So i've simply paid $10 extra to add International warranty coverage to my 1 year standard US warranty. I knew $35 was too good to be true to extend the warranty for a further 5 years LOL

Or maybe you bought the cheapest x1 gen 5 and got a different warranty status? -
Yeah I was under the impression that Lenovo notebook warranties included worldwide coverage but I'm guessing that only applies to products bought directly from Lenovo. I bought my high spec X1 Gen 5 (silver) from a respected US ebay lenovo reseller, it cost $1700 with immediate shipping whereas it would have cost me close to $2000 for the same spec X1 and a 2 week build time from Lenovo directly. So I guess one of the downsides of my purchase was a US only warranty but for an extra $10 this has been extended worldwide. In case anyone is wondering how I got the Silver X1 shipped to UK, I had the notebook delivered to my shipito.com address who then sent it via DHL to UK.
