What is the difference between the extended service and the warranty service when configuring a laptop on the lenovo site?

Also, anyone know whether the 9x5/next day warranty is worth the extra $ over the depot repair?

And...in the upgrade and accessories section, they offer warranties and serivice upgrades. For instance, the "Warranty Service Upgrade; 4 year onsite repair 9x5 next day" is just $83 (EPP). Is that what it looks like, a 4 year warranty extension for just $83? Maybe I am missing something. Let me know any other pertinent information concernng the warranty. Thanks.

The answer to your second question depends on your situation. if you can go without your laptop for the week or two it would take to have it repaired, save the cash. Next business day is always a nice thing to have.

Bear in mind that with the depot repair, Lenovo will still send you user-replacable parts. Battery, keyboard, etc.
