I have a little bit more than one year old X61 that was not purchased with n extended warranty.
I'm interested in selling it to someone and they're asking if they can purchase a warranty for it.
Does anyone know if Lenovo offers anything along those lines?

    Thanks,

    :D

so how much does it cost in australia as i only have one years worth of warranty and would like to extend it.
i got one question, can you get a warranty if the notebook breaks when its outside of warranty? this way you pay nothing if it doesnt break and if it does, the cost to fix it is just the relatively small price of a years worth of warranty.

Honestly, do you think Lenovo is stupid or idiot? lol

Warranty is kind of insurance, can you buy an insurance when you have in trouble?

But lenovo does offer, a little more expensive.

I was surprised as well to hear that one could purchase warranty service *after* yours had already expired.

It says a lot about how much the company believes in their product.
