Are ExpressCards in X201 implemented as PCI-Express or USB?
How speedy is maximum throughput of ExpressCards built in X201?
Does it make sense to use USB 3.0 via ExpressCard in order to reach USB 3.0 maximum data rate?

They're implemented as PCI-E 1x, I believe. Technically, yes, it could be useful to have a USB 3.0 to ExpressCard adapter if you want to take advantage of your USB 3.0 devices.
