I have a T430 and I'm thinking of ordering a MC7700 off of eBay, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience using the Gobi 4000 (Sierra AirPrime MC7700) with T-mobile (since it's spec'd for AT&T), and if so, do I have to play around with the drivers/firmware to get it to work?

Thinking of getting the T-mo Simple Choice Data plan for $20/mo that comes with 2GB at 4G speeds and unlimited "throttled" 3G speed (16KBp/s). Especially since I travel abroad pretty frequently, having constant WWAN access (albeit at throttled 3G speeds) overseas would be rather nice.

Bonus points if anyone has ever used this WWAN modem overseas!
