I am in a jam. I booted my pc today and removed my webcam from the usb while booting. I then come across the pc and tried to do the fingerswipe. Nothing... I then entered the password and got a black screen. Seeing how it was odd...i went to reboot the pc manually and now the fingerprint security program error code came up. So i entered the password manually and I find myself in windows. I find out that the file extension .exe is missing from the extension folder option. I tried running everything and nothing. Firefox works fine, but programs like the thinkvantage is off the grid since the exe is missing. I right clicked and tried running on admin for the programs that didnt work and they work. However, i am not going to keep trying to run as admind and right click away. Does any one know what happened? How to fix it? Any suggestions.

I am running a lenovo x61 and windows vista basic. Thanx
